In about a week, my two month mark in this City of Sails will pass. Occupied, I will probably take no notice. Even with passing time, I have yet to manage the hours to all my favourite places that once was. All the better though (: Savour. Usually, my preferred side of the lens is behind it. Trying to change that a little, achieve some balance. Above, on a chilly night we made our way to Circus Circus and devoured a mini pavlova, a banoffee pie and a Belgium biscuit (speculoos!). This cafe is located in a suburb I spent my first two years in Auckland. Mt Eden <3
Here's me struggling to take a picture to send to Shuli! She made me buy this cardi! Possibly so that I would stop trying to steal hers whenever she wasn't looking. Glad (:
On the way to Hamilton on Sat. Nath, the lolly junky! Those snakes were ridiculously long and in my lolly opinion, not worth the chew. Poor Nath, always frustrated when I'm not as enthusiastic about lollies as he is. What can I say? Grew up on seaweed and Japanese rice crackers, yum! (do loveeeeee ice-cream though!)
Was my first time to Hami. We've always bypassed it. Were we actually purposefully avoiding it? Here's my short experience:
As we walked to our car, a man unabashedly blew his nose onto the invisible tissue he believed he held in his hands. One nostril at a time, his bodily treasures let loose. Yuck. Oh! There's more... He then proceeded to the nearest lamp post to wipe his hands down. Yeahhh... Nath and I winced at each other. He knew telepathically I was screaming with my eyes, get me outta here! Haha. Can't conclude on the town yet though. I'll give it another try (: It was really good to finally see his grandparents after two and a half long years.
At Takapuna Beach Cafe for a catchup. I love how pets are allowed to most cafes (: Next to me that day was a beautiful black labrador. I just wanted to squeeze her and pet her gorgeous black head (I did!)! Missing 'Beast of all Labradors- Rexy' and 'His Royal- Spotness'.
Lots of this pants lately! Another thing I share with you, Shu!
This Monday, 4 of my boxes that had been shipped by 'laut' arrived. Was ecstatic! Haha, look at the mess it created! And look below, at my poor makeshift dresser. Just as I was saying: no room for clutter!
The wall arrangement so far (: Plan to slowly continue this structure leftward. Mismatched, hello!
A while ago, Elena (Ming's girlfriend) introduced my to free printable bunting online for Ming's 21st. The loverly also helped me make porpor's 'Happy Birthday' this year. And taddaa...today hehe, one for our laundry area.
OMG why is the laundry so sparkly?? I love your feature wall. But you know what I love most of all... THE YELLOW CARDIGAN!! I was thinking we should put both our pictures side by side and be like. Here is what we are wearing thousands of miles apart!!
ReplyDeletePS The stupid thing thought I was a robot THREE TIMES. COME ON.
ReplyDeleteHahaha as you can probably tell, I had too much fun editing (: got slightly carried away with the 'laundry'. Love the cardi idea!! We should... when?
Delete*Hi, I are robot-- Shoe*
